By using getdisclosure.app, taking the classification, sending us your email, or using the DISCLOSURE app once it is available, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use DISCLOSURE.
We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version.
What Disclosure is
DISCLOSURE is a civilian first contact preparation app, in development for iOS and Android, with this website as its public file. The app is not available yet, and no release date is set. Today the site offers a ten-question classification, a dossier for each role, a first contact briefing, a readiness drill and an archive of intel files.
DISCLOSURE provides entertainment, education, scenario training and preparation content. Where the site describes reported sightings, beings or lore, it is describing what people have reported, not established fact.
DISCLOSURE is not affiliated with any government, military, intelligence agency, emergency service, scientific authority or official first contact body. It is not official emergency guidance, and it is not medical, legal or survival advice or a substitute for professional judgment. In a real emergency, follow your local authorities.
Your role and your card
Your role, serial number and iris print are generated from your answers for entertainment and preparation inside DISCLOSURE. The First Contact Card is not an identity document, license, certification or security clearance, and it must not be presented as one. Your serial number is random and does not identify you.
Accounts and access
The website has no accounts. If the app offers accounts when it opens, you are responsible for keeping your login details private and for activity under your account. You agree to give accurate information where it is required and not to impersonate anyone.
We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms, abuses the service, interferes with its infrastructure, or tries to get into parts of it they are not allowed into.
Purchases and refunds
Nothing is sold on this website. If the app offers purchases, they will be processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or a payment service named in the app at the time of purchase. Refunds are handled by the store where you made the purchase, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Pricing, availability and features may change. We will not intentionally remove paid access without notice where a material change affects your purchase.
Emails
If you send us your email, you receive your First Contact Card and, later, news about the app’s launch. Nothing else. Every email can be unsubscribed from; the privacy policy explains how.
Acceptable use
- No reverse engineering. Do not decompile, scrape, extract, clone or bypass the site or the app.
- No abuse. Do not attack, overload, probe or disrupt the infrastructure, including the email and sign-up systems.
- No deception. Do not present anything from DISCLOSURE as a government, emergency, military or professional credential.
- No illegal use. Do not use the service to break the law or to harm anyone.
- No content theft. Do not copy, redistribute, resell or build commercial products from DISCLOSURE content without permission.
Intellectual property
DISCLOSURE owns or licenses the website, the app, the visual system, the role framework, the copy, the training content, the interface, the graphics, the audio and related materials. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable and revocable license to use DISCLOSURE for its intended purpose.
Anything you lawfully submit stays yours. You give us the rights needed to store, process and display it within the service. Sharing your own card, as it was issued to you, is welcome.
Disclaimers and liability
DISCLOSURE is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content, perfect accuracy, particular outcomes, or that any training will keep you safe in a real event.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DISCLOSURE and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary damages arising from use of the service.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, unless mandatory consumer protection rules where you live require otherwise.
