DISCLOSURE is a phone app built for the minute nobody rehearses. It is in development for iOS and Android. It launches with five things. The classification, your card and your first signs are free. Clearance unlocks unlimited drills, crew drills and a card that grows. Your card holds your place.

    Ten questions about the first minute of contact grow an iris from your answers and name the job you would reach for first. You can take it on this page now; the app plays your eye back as a six-second video.

    Sudden sound and light while the front camera films your face and the phone scores how still you stay. You keep the clip and the score, and your crew gets a number to beat. An optional minute of breathing, paced by haptics, comes first. So does a warning, and there is no fast strobe.

    From the Open Hand to your role’s own sign, the phone tracks your hands on the device itself and tells you when each one is clean. Then play Echo: mirror the sequence before time runs out, and film yourself doing it.
